An old friend from work told me her brother in law was getting rid of his old collection for a $1 a record so I picked the following for $10...
Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers - Long After Dark
Bruce Springsteen - Darkness On The Edge Of Town
Stompin' Tom Connors - Sings Bud The Spud And Other Favourites
Merle Haggard And The Strangers - Swinging Doors And The Bottle Let Me Down
George Jones (2) - Golden Hits
Jefferson Airplane - Takes Off
The Kinks - Live At Kelvin Hall
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band* - Ricochet
Marvin Gaye - Midnight Love
1755 - 1755
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
Crazy Otto - Crazy Otto's Ragtime Band
Kenny Rogers - Ten Years Of Gold

Pretty solid haul for $10

That's not bad.  Should have just snagged the whole collection at that price lol.

Gospel, country and Elton John from there.

Ugh.  Welp, that's a sweet haul you got.  I'm not familiar with Crazy Otto...

I only know him from the lyrics to Ramble On Rose.

That's why I snagged it.
Great ragtime music.
My whole family drools.

Live At Kelvin Hall was my first Kinks album. Sound is meh, but the energy is great.

Did you hear that, Trey? He's getting annoyed. Enough with the effects already.

Looking for recommendations. Iím moving this weekend and will need to buy a new storage system for my vinyl. Iíve been using shelves that were built into the walls that were perfect. What do you guys recommend? Most of what I see out there is through Ikea. Thanks!

I use this currently. It matches our coffee table and entertainment stand also.

Hm. As vinyl is quite heavy, I wonder if those drawers handle the gravity thing in the long run.

13.5" tall and 14" deep. Works well for fitting the larger box-sets into it.

Saw the Amazon.ca price on John Scofield Hand Jive drop from $46 to $32 and I pulled the trigger.  Great album, nice LP set.  Blue Note is killing it with the reissues this year.

Pumped for Kenny Dorhamís Uno Mas RE.  Killer lineup.

So, this weekend I finally pulled out my copy of Bear's Sonic Journal: Allman Bros. at Fillmore East Feb. 1970. Run was limited to 1500 for record store day - turns out my copy is 0004/1500. That's pretty cool, imo!

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul
