...and hopefully we'll be playing well into our nineties and hopefully you guys will be there too
Did I mention at one point in my life I became so cynical that I ended up an optimist? If you think everything's gonna suck, eventually nearly everything in life becomes a pleasant surprise.
ha. we actually know the singer. sort of. my friends neighbor and his folks are his godparents, local guys. my answer, no. nice guys, but, no, unless you're already there, and you will be back here bitching about it tomorrow, in which case, sorry i didn't reply sooner.
Chicks dig it, the Sorostitues will be out in force...Terry
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment
i will also motion for the 30 minute spacefunk w/ loops hat pooping
We used to see these guys ALL THE TIME in college. As has already been mentioned in this thread, we knew the singer quite well. Back then, they played more of a variety of stuff, not just the pop-jam type. And there's always this:Quote from: twatts on July 19, 2009, 11:41:42 amChicks dig it, the Sorostitues will be out in force...Terry

They have changed and matured over the years. I have their first few albums but have lost my interest. Any live music is always worth a check. We all have different ears to some extent. They are more poppy now more than ever. Anytime I go now it is really more for supporting them as we do know they guys quite well and they are really nice guys. They usually play a show around thanksgiving at the Norva each year.
College game? I'm pretty sure that was played at the 30th birthday party I was at this weekend. EDIT: I was not in attendance for said show, but one of my favorite Carbon Leaf memories was getting "Liquor Bill" to scream "Rift" in between songs one night our junior year.
Short answer: Do it.
Yeah dude, no offense, but you'd be stupid not to. 1) It's a Beautiful Room2) There will be a plethora of hotties3) It's around St. Patties so it'll be more fun than usual.
