Dear LeBron & Bosh,
« on: July 09, 2010, 09:12:46 am »

When you win an NBA title with 2 other top-tier all-stars, you will not receive the respect you think you deserve.

You also just made the Heat even more hated than the Lakers in the NBA.

Just f**k off already.

I'd also say it just exemplifies what a mockery the NBA has been for quite some time.

free agents collaborating in the offseason and all end up on one team.

just another reason why I hate the NBA.

I thought it was going to be the Heat before the press conference, but then I saw all of the little kids in the background and thought...well maybe you'll stay in Cleveland.  Why would you have all of this kids there and do the DICK move.  Oh well, dude is crazy good, but I did lose a lot of respect for him.

im not the biggest basketball fan in the world, but why all the dissing of Lebron for this move to Miami?

Yes, the press conference was a fucking joke, but if Jordan ever left the Bulls back in the day to a different team, you better believe there would have been the same type of circus.

And besides, why would he stay in Cleveland? Homeboy played out his entire contract and the extension in Cleveland and didnt WIN. Peace i'm out.

And if i'm arguably the beset player in the league, let me surround myself with other stars to get the f-ing job done and win multiple rings.

Dont hate.

Not hate, I'd do it to.  I just thought the kids thing was SUPER dick.  As for the rest of the circus, it is what any sane person would do.  I worked at a job for 10 years that was during college, got my start and had a good run.  It is still near to my heart, but after a while, you do what you gotta do.  It is the same thing.  I just could not figure out why all of the kids were there.

1. He pretty much gave up in the playoffs last year.  Bosh also seemed to give up on the Raptors last year.

2. It seems like these guys planned this for a long time, since the Olympics.  How are you going to give your 100% for your team when you know you're moving to Miami next season?

3. Loyalty is a preferable trait to greed.

4. Fcuk 'em because even if they win a ring, people expect it now.  Kobe wins championships with Gasol and scrubs, therefore Kobe > everyone else.

Agree that the kids thing was a jerk move. But i guess it was the whole Boys and Girls club angle.

And yes he does look like Fred sanford a bit.

I think it's fine that he went to Miami I just think the whole process was shit - to drag Cleveland and the other teams aound when he knew the whole time he was going to Miami with Bosh.  And to have his own tv special? Really?  Really?  The whole thing about the proceeds going to charity and whatever is great but it was a total CYA move.  How many times did he say with Jim Gray and Michael Wilbon "I did this for Cleveland" and "I did that for Cleveland", blah blah blah.  And Mattstick you are absolutely right.  It will be no surprise to anyone if they win a championship and people will always say that he had to go to Miami w/ Wade and Bosh to win one.  Oh, yeah and have fun Miami trying to actually fill a 12 man roster!!

LeBron just walked away from 30 million and now he's greedy?

He spent 7 years in Cleveland, that's a long time and the management couldn't put the pieces together.

At the end of the day basketball is his job and so he decided to work for someone else that he thought would give him more opportunity for success, big fucking deal.

However, the best laid plans do not always come to pass and I don't know that LeBron and Wade will necessarily get along as well as they think they will.

I didn't see anyone call him greedy.

But you should have to work for a Championship, not conspire to join forces with your buddies and form 3/5 of an all-star team.

Baskeball question: Who's going to play center on this squad?  Regardless, Dwight Howard will dominate them.
