yes, it was time.  no, it was actually way overdue.   I've got a 5 year old computer (a P4 running win xp).  This entire time, I've had just 512 MB of RAM.  for $30, I added 2 gigs and am now running 2.5 GB of RAM.  smooth, easy upgrade.  should definitely help speed things up, especially when loading large 24 bit wave files.

no real question or inquiry on my part, just thought I'd share :)

Memory is huge.. 512mb isnt enough to do hardly anything.. Alot of the new computers have 8gb starting out :-o
If this is love, I'm never going home..

I love how cheap RAM is for old machines...

that should def help with the 24bit files.
