Obviously the release is for $$$$, my post (blawwg) was about why they selected the ball over say... 8 DVD Big Cypress box set release.

Cypress would take up more than 8 DVDs.  And who cares if they picked the Ball over something else?  You know just as well as I do they've got tons more material they're going to release in the future.

I hope they wait long enough that they could release it cheaply in Blue-Ray. 

That would significantly cut down on the amount of discs.
