Opening an ipod

I'm trying to change my ipod battery - I just can't get the gap started. I tried squeezing like the instructions said, but can't jam in the little tool (also tried a small screwdriver and a guitar pick).
Anyone have any tips?

those tools worked great for me.  try a plastic spackle blade perhaps?  not sure...

heh, this reminds me of O&A's Britney Spears' virginity baseball card sale (in the voice of Don West from QVC.  you know who he is if you've seen him).  if you've never heard, search out an mp3.
