John Popper and Chris Barron song swapped playing with a sick local 20 piece band called the Fogcutters as part of  a charity event/birthday party here in Portland last night.  What a blast!  Here's a skat trio they did with the Fogcutter's lead singer.  Fun stuff!

Last night Popper sat in with my really good friend for 4 songs including a version of his song Leap Frog.  I have been hearing this song for about 15 years now and this is quite the version including a pretty nasty harp solo from Popper.  Check it out.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

One more. Cream's Farewell documentary (1968). First saw this in high school when I was only 14, on a double bill the Stones in the Park. I  was  the youngest attending the screening. The older guys took me under their wing and were amazed that I owned all Cream albums. I made a lot tapes in the weeks there after.

Mr. Natural

^^^ I love the interviews with the musicians. Especially when Ginger is showing what he does and the other 2, even after playing with him for years, still look like they can't believe it.
This link looks a lot better than my old VHS, too.   Nice.

Dutch stoner kids dabbling in psychedelic rock and a bit of hip-hop. They are all over the interwebs over here.  They suck.

Mesmerized. To echo one of the commenters, at 1:35 in he drops a fourth voice using the 4th and 5th fingers of his right hand, thus isloating his thumbs for the middle voices. Very difficult, but older than Chopin, and nice to see brought forward.
Dysfunction and itemized lists of people's failures are where it's at.
