Lyrics to Light in case y'all need them for your iPods:

QuoteI can't see the light between me and my mind
I can feel memories fall behind
And the light is growing brighter now 2x

I see the furture is less and less bare
And the past has vanished in the air
And I'm left in the now and the wonderous glow
I think I'm still me but how would you know

I can't see the light between me and my mind
I can feel memories fall behind
And the light is growing brighter now 2x

It takes a few moments of whirling around
Till your feet finally leave the ground
And fending off fears and heeding the call
And finally waiting for nothing at all

I can't see the light between me and my mind
I can feel memories fall behind
And the light is growing brighter now 4x

And the light is growing brighter now 14x
(with the band repeating)
Unify my soul
Fantasies are filtered
Obstacles are stepping stones

Is that Fat Guy in a Little Coat during Bowie at around 8 minutes?

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

it was dope.  its played note perfect, and really keeps building and building energy.

Ending jam was good, the rest is still pretty meh for me.

Anyone noticing how Trey is using that digital whammy bar (for lack of a better term) effect a lot?

Also, I think WTU is still hungover from trying to hang with the old guys during this stand.....

I didn't attend this show, but have very vivid memories of listening to it on the way to Wanee (June 5-6 2009). Feeling so good to be on the way to a festival, feeling so good to know I'd be flying up the AV to hang out with my original Phish crew in a few weeks.

i will shit if they played Destiny Unbound on the southern leg.

Mike stepping up and really tearing it up in this YEM is one of the highlights of 09 for me.

PIE-GUY

Really tough to beat that infamous Beantown weekend. Toss in a little curtis loew and a dash of destiny and you get a satiated pieguy.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul
