Marmar

I will say it's getting better......it's still meh, but it's getting there
Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

Superfreakie

Mike's sucked/was boring/meandered/directionless in the later 90's, lol

Yeah, for sure the monster laser attack from Deer Creek '96 really sucked, then Vegas and Hampton '97 were brutal, the Gorge in '98 pure garbage, New Years '98 waste of time, and why bother with PNC '99 and PNC '00, or Shoreline '00 for that matter. Yeah, Mike's really sucked after 1995, that's rich, lol. pffft.

Mike's is one of the greatest vehicles in Phish's jam canon. And of all the songs in their catalog, developed and embodied all Phish's changes..just like now, Phish's jamming sucks.....well so does Mike's. It's a harbinger, the canary in the mine. Hence the following QFT....

I bet there was at least one good Mike's Song in 03/04

2-21-03, the rest of them are pretty lame.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

I agree.  But, then again, I'm a self-certified Cincy '03 fluffer.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

Aight then, indeed I will.
checked it, i like it but imo the 03 cinci is so readicculus

Agree, not bad but Cinci still takes the 2.0 (and 3.0) cake.

I'd give that Alpine version a B+.
