they probably did it the best way that they could figure it out.  its not easy working w/ 2 different pools of ticketholders.

just because in the email it says that tickethorse customers will have a shot at camping if any spots still remain.  Why would it say that if they are the ones who get cracks at camping first?

assuming i get in, you can ship it to me and ill drive it down.  if it comes down to that for you.  i think that holding out on lodging is the best bet right now though, shawn.  theres plenty of time between now and then.  right now is when lots of people are finally finding out that they can go and things are a little frantic.  but if you let them settle back down, in a month, people will be willing to deal because they realize that 90% of the people coming to town already have a place booked. 

seriously, dont sweat it.  but if push comes to shove w/ the gear, ups it to denver and ill drive it on down.

Oh I'm not sweating it.  I would definitely prefer to have 4 walls around me while I am there.  Camping is rough on me nowaways.  But I will do it if I have to.  Still not sure though if I want to grab a camping pass tomorrow just in case though

I'm 45 mins via Ophir pass, 2 hrs away if we drive around. I'm in durango now

The drive is certainly not short. I-70 will likely be the fastest way from Denver, but going through Gunnison would certainly be a nicer drive, prolly an hour or two more depending on how much you'd stop.

Just booked a hotel in Gunnison for Sunday night

Toronto > Denver Saturday
Denver > Gunnison Sunday
Gunnison > Telluride Monday

Going to fly home on Sunday so now I start planning Wed > Sunday in Colorado.
