im legit going to search out all the shows from this tour now though. This band is smokin'. I love the Jimmy Warren + Melvin Seals combo on keys, and JErry's voice might be at its peak performance wise.

listened to the simple? knockin again today. I seriously think the knockin is my fav all time now. simple is beyond good too.

Speaking of which, I ran into a Deadhead at the bar at the last ski race I was at. He was about 55 or older and had been seeing them since 87. He tried to tell me the most beautiful thing he had ever heard from any Dead incarnation was Mayer belting out Terrapin at Fenway on the last D&C tour. I really didn't know what to say so I told him I had stopped following after Furthur.
I am not shitting on D&C for the record. I enjoy them but I just really could not fathom that statement. To each their own I guess.
