In honor of Jerry, today's musical line-up in the office is:

12/10/71 Fox Theatre, St. Louis, MO
08/06/74 Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, NJ
12/28/79 Oakland Auditorium Arena, Oakland, CA

I doubt I'll get to finish the third show before work is over, but I've got some great stuff coming today!  :syf:

Man, I love Donna-less Playin's! I'm jamming out to the Fox Theatre second set and right as I brace myself for the atrocious 'Donna wail'... it doesn't happen and a wave of euphoria washed over me.

I'd still like there to be a project someday to edit the 'Donna wail' out of all Dead shows.

I don't 'hate' Donna, it's just that Playin' wail that I can't take. It's such a juxtaposition compared to the music the band is playing. When she sings it sounds fine.

On a side note, everyone knows that she's one of the background singers on Elvis's Suspicious Minds, right?
