Just saw that this is available on HBO-GO so I might rewatch it after I take the wife to the airport tonight.

Parts of it, sure. On the whole and especially following up the triumph that was LOTR, I thought it was a bit of a dud...

Different strokes, I guess.  I thought it was a great way to set up the story for this trilogy of movies.  IMO, it's only going to get better.
