Wow, I feel your pain. I can't believe you guys have gotten so much snow, or that the amount you did get literally shut half the States down. Were you able to miracle your ticket to someone or is it sitting in front of you right now?

I was able to sell them all, so nobody got miracled, but people got the 30th and the first for face, and my pair of NYE tix for $400 (200/each) cause that's what I paid for them in October....Sucks that I am not going, but I am also pretty stoked to have $600 I wasn't going to have if I went....booked a ski house at Bachelor for a week, so that's a fair trade in my book....plus I have been riding knee deep fresh all week out here....

where you been riding of late?

I live in Portland, so I have my pass at Mt. Hood.  It's 50 miles away....Not huge, but there are 3 different resorts on it and we have an 111" base, so it is has been a great season so far.  I can get there in an hour and there is some nice terrain on it.  Today must have been sick, but I didn't go because of the crowds.  I am looking at it from my computer right now--Here is a picture I took from my backyard 2 seconds ago....

SICK. I think I mentioned once I used to bring my race teams for summer training at Hood many years ago. But you could only ski till noon before it went to slush. We also had to lay a lot of salt on the track to keep it bullet proof hard (not very environmental). I stopped because it became cost effective to fly to Chile for summer training as accom. at hood in the summer was getting up there.
