a little bummed I didn't make it to this... SXSW is such a tough pill to swallow when it takes over your town. By Saturday night I had no desire to be anywhere near the crowds.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I can dig that.
I, on the other hand, was very much wishing I had gone to SXSW right until Blat showed up at my door to go to GYBE @ 9:30 Club.

Had a great time tonight with blat, hesthemamba & his girl. Megafaun rocked. I wasn't super fond of the mountain goats, but whatever - great time regardless!

Here's a few mediocre pics from this evening. We tried to get a shot with the band, but the dude taking the picture failed and some guy walked in front of us right as the picture was being snapped...
Just two whiskies, officer.

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

Bummed I couldn't make that show (or tonight's in DC.)

Cool video and good song!  :music: Now I'm going to have to pay attention and read through the rest of this thread.  :-(

Buffalo Budd

Went through Heretofore and Gather, Form and Fly today while taking care of the little gaffer and handwashing our laundry.
I love these guys, handwashing our clothes not so much.  :|
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Apparently Fight The Big Bull was recording in their studio either with them or by themselves, from the pic I saw it looks like a collabo.
