Bowie 5/02/92 - Wizard of Oz

not recorded anywhere, but my sister's Rabbi is a deadhead, and they have guitar / mandolin / middle eastern percussion sometimes. anyway, one night when I was visiting, he teased FOTD (slow version) into a prayer song - interlude
"toss away stuff you don't need in the end
but keep what's important, and know who's your friend"
"It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

And an early CTB tease!

its almost been a week and I have no reviewz :x

but if you wanna check out early teases go peep the 93 style piper teases in the begining of the meat in murat gin, and the fox tweezer shows the first sings of birds right after the slave-esque segment.

Also i am a fan of the "im a man" jam in the 99 camden gin.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

Murat Starship Trooper tease ensues, as well. (the Friday the 13th jam)

SER BIZ!

Mine's almost done.  But if it makes you feel any better, there's still a couple folks who haven't even reviewed my pick from two weeks ago.

You never drink alone when you have something good to listen to.

the Lengthwise riff/jam in the 2-04-93 hood is one of my go-to teases.  I think aug introduced me to that one a few years back in one of his many "introduce people to awesome jams" threads.  It may have even been competing against another hood for something

jedifunk

two of my favs have already been mentioned

8/2/96 antelope: star wars is the absolute BOMB!
12/1/94 tweezer; norwegian wood

another not yet mentioned is less a tease and more a full on jam... 12/16/99 tweezer w/slave jam

"Years later, I found out they'd signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.  The head of Decca, Dick Rowe, made a canny prediction: 'Guitar groups are on the way out, Mr. Epstein.'" - George Harrison

I remember that like it was yesterday. Hard to believe I was only 13 when I saw it.
"I used to be 'with it', but then they changed what 'it' was and now what I'm with isn't 'it' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me"

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.
