Having quite a bit of FOMO with my whole crew/phamily rage-in the pav. but :roll:they are having fun.  Gave a quick listen to the first set doing some yard work, in the first min. of Carini now.    LOVED how they cam out swinging in the Tweezer composed sec. was strong then fizzeled. Really alot of energy thru most of the set....Stash kind of sucked.......KDF was steller really promising.....really......Bold As love was strong as well. Overall good...I've seen and heard worse tour openers!  One more thing SBD sound great.

The soundboard sounds incredible for this show.  Waves is really good.

qft.

I'd have to agree also.

but WTF to this Boogie On jam?!?!

It's effing sweet.

It was pretty awesome until it came crashing to a dragged-out halt.

Disagree.  The dragged-out halt is straight up psychedelic fun.

i can go either way.  when i was listening to the stream it was cool.  listening back i'm not sure how i feel about it.

this waves jam though is pure 98-99 phish to me.  i kept thinking they were going to play something for the siket disc.  reassuring to say the least.  this jams reminds me that WE ALL can get OUT THERE.  i was floating listening to this.  literally...
Clearly it's all awful.

I was really digging it until the 'slowdown'.

The slow down is when I start to dig it...differ'nt strokes.

However, the slowdown in C&P at about 9min.  :-o

This is some serious phish right here.

Fishman forgets to sing "Facts or getting the best of them"  "Facts are nothing in the face of him"

F- fish.

by the by, the actual lyrics of the song are "Facts are getting the best of them, facts are nothing on the face of things."

the slowdown was the cool trick of the jam.  it worked in the moment for me.

I was torn on that.  I did but I didn't like what he was doing.  I liked it because it kept trey from going into NICU.  I didn't because I don't like mike to overpower the jams that much.

I much prefered the "slowdown" to that.

OKay, Havent heard much praise of this C&P. I haven't listened back to the show. But i remember being there and just holy shit the Crosseyed was insane. Just holy cow it was nuts. But will have to relisten.

thatfargone

The slowdown was straight slop.  They saved it with psychedelic fun.

Impressive opener.  They need to keep it up or this is just a good 3.0 show...not the beginning of anything.

many people's reviews here have me exceedingly stoked to listen, namely Faux and Roggae's descriptions of the Boogie On and Waves weirdness.

And, umm, I'm way not up on all Phish shit right now, but someone better explain the things I'm reading about this being the last Phish tour ever......
