I was there and loved it in person.
The crazy jam at the end of rock'n'roll > albequerie is the best live phish experience I may have had in 3.0.

Second set is full of gems. Waves is absolutely killer, and if you can forgive the whack transition into CDT, that's actually not too shabby either. Of course, Suzy takes the cake for me. On mahfuckin' point.

i don't know... this first set is awful. nice opener, but everything else sounds terrible. access me is a mess. vultures is all over the place. sand is just a bunch of trey wanking, going nowhere. even on your way down is garbled.

into set 2 now, hoping for something better...

Have I mentioned that I kinda have a thing for Trey's Reba solo?

I hear someone owes someone a record...

Yep and I'm glad to pay up as I actually got to see the song in question.

rock & roll has an interesting ending. albuquerque sounds nice. and piper is better than usual.
other than that, this set is a wash.

I was there both nights.  Only my 3rd and 4th shows ever, but probably, no definitely, the greatest experience of my entire life.  Sorry that some of you guys who saw them in the 90s feel disappointed, but for guys like me these shows are incredible.  Not sure how it will sound when I relisten, but there was definitely something in the air saturday night that everyone there was feeling.  Unbelievable amount of glowsticks and the band looked they were having more fun than I've ever seen.

mbw

the amount of glowsticks wooks bring always = hetty show.

eta:  glad you enjoyed yourself.

I'm only through Sand, but I don't get the hate for this show at all.

I don't have any hate for this one. But, listening back you have to note that worse then the horse force is the chalkdust force from waves...that was just disappointing...I don't even understand what Trey is thinking when he does stuff like that.

Maybe since I'm only there to pad my stats, the music just doesn't matter as much any more?
