It's my 23 year phish anniversary.  The show itself melted my brain.  I watched the end of world happen from a port-o-potty in dead creek afterwards!
The events in our lives happen in a sequence in time, but in their significance to ourselves they find their own order; the continuous thread of revelation.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I can't believe IT was 20 years ago today.
It's when I first felt the wheels were coming off but still an incredible weekend of music.

Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Thinking back, I was fortunate to have listened to the rumors of a Tower set and booked it as soon as I heard the sounds coming from the tower. Ripped it from our campsite on my longboard and parked myself about 30 yards away, catching pretty much the whole thing.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

25 years since my second show. Merriweather '98.

Incredibly fun show. Place was packed.
