there is a slick radio feature in the Jazzfest iPhone app if you have it.

iphone? apps? my phone barely lets me make phone calls.  :-(

(gah is old school)
lol!!
Thanks for the heads up on the iphone app though, I'll be hooking that up.
ETA: JamOn has been rockign stuff in preparation all weekend too. A couple pretty sick Radiatiors tunes were the highlight for me.

you missed the rad's by a year. last performance was to close out the Gentilly stage last year.

But yeah, I don't have jam on, just explore music online and check out bands. Looking for some outliers for next weekend to catch while others might be crowding the larger stages.

yeah, saw that, as part of their midnite preserves. I've never been to one of those. Usually am way to jacked up at that point to sit through a quieter set. What are you thinking, or were you just throwing it out there?

My father-in-law is heading out today with my brother-in-law (Burmese Python)...I am all kinds of jealous.  They are all kinds of stoked.  Once I finally convinced my father-in-law to go, he won;t miss one.  It's his kind of scene.  Hopefully I'll go back next year, but I am already going to NO for a week in October to visit my peeps so not sure if JF will work, but I want to make it work.....

My parents and sister will be down for 2nd weekend. first time for all of 'em. I fully expect them to love it. Mom is 70 and Jazzfest is her birthday present from me.

Ya I was just throwing it out there. Seems like it could be a helluva powerful experience but slowing things down thy much at midnight seems tough. I am still open on Friday until 2am.
