After we wrap up "The Worst of..." Round next week, we'll go straight into Round 14 on the 28th with a "1st Show" theme.

Normal rules apply.
Your first show must not be on the master list.
If it is, you'll have to sit this Round out.
We'll close this at 10 picks.

01 - G. Augustus (07-23-1993 Wantagh, NY)
02 - Khalpin (02-13-1993 Newark, DE)
03 - Buffalo Budd (08-16-1997 Limestone, ME)
04 - UncleEbinezer (11-25-1995 Hampton, VA)
05 - Whatapiper (10-25-1996 Hampton, VA)
06 - Pholy M. Pia (04-06-1991 Olympia, WA)
07 - Caravan (06-16-1990 Townshend, VT)

Should folks list their first show when signing up... Just in case there's a double?

Good point, but I like the suspense.

this time of year, I know I'll fall 5 weeks behind in the first 3 weeks.  Without signing up, I'll try and do a review here and there.

I read these reviews all the time (minus this last round  ) and never sign up as I worry I won't get my review in in time.  I'm biting the bullet this time and signing up.  Here's my first show:

Out, because I can't keep up with it anyway. Plus, my first show is pretty lame, musically. One set at HORDE 92.

Set 1: The Landlady, Runaway Jim, Foam, Sparkle, Stash, The Squirming Coil, Cavern > Vacuum Solo > Cavern, You Enjoy Myself, Suzy Greenberg

Notes: This show was part of the H.O.R.D.E. tour that also featured Aquarium Rescue Unit, Blues Traveler, The Spin Doctors and Widespread Panic. Several "official" H.O.R.D.E. dancers took the stage during The Landlady to dance with Trey and Mike. During the tramps segment of YEM, an extra tramp and microphone were brought out for John Popper. On his first jump, though, Popper jumped right through the trampoline. Embarrassed, he left the stage.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I'm in but pretty sure 8/16/96 has been covered.   but I'd love to review my 1st show after the Ball, 10/25/96 Hampton....

ETA: I may have found a loophole....

Clifford Ball was my first Festival....

Hampton 96 my first Show....
We are all and we are all we are
Far flung bits of Sun and bits of Stars
From the  ocean from the land from the
beginning to end
Backwards forwards back toward
we belong

I've been following along for a few rounds now, and seeing as how the finding my first show on etree spurred my recent re-obsession w/  :phish:, I'll jump in if you'll let me.
My first show is from 91. (Preserving semi-surprise for Aug)
