knicks dump a bunch of picks for Mikail Bridges.
another Villanova guy :D
i'm liking this.
Sounds like they are gonna have to drop Anonoby, hardenstien or robinson to make cap, but Randall contract up next year so... maybe it all works out by then.

They'll definitely keep Anunoby and drop Hartenstein or MitchRob, maybe both.

Blazers trade Brogdan and the #14 pick to take a flier on some Israeli guy, dunno bout that.

But, I like the pick for Donovan Clingan at 7, we always need bigs and you have to be good to start at UConn, seems pretty promising.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

yeah, slightly concerned the Knicks gonna be big man-less... but i don't think they can have it all this year anyway. I'ts gonna be a tough decision. Robinson is pretty injury prone, but is such a nice piece IF healthy... Isn't far fetched to see them planning for dumping Randal next year, and really trying to have all the pieces come together then.

OG is locked up for 5 years

Gotta let Mitch go because of his injury history (even though I live the guy and wish he was healthier)

Resigning iHart is a necessity
If this is love, I'm never going home..

Hicks

I think they've already said Hartenstein is out, too expensive.

Maybe they will go for Drummond? He should be affordable, but is only viable as a backup these days.

we'll see, Leon has been putting on a master class in team building the past few years

if they are able to resign him, Leon deserves a statue outside MSG

Master class?  How so?  They have not really accomplished anything of note yet...

i heard diffently today, but who knows.
there are possible paths. Supposedly he's open to a small salary cut.
TBH im not like set on needing Hartenstein.
he's a great utility player, but i don't think he's irreplaceable at all.

locking down Ananoby, having Brunson and now Bridges... this core 3 is very very solid.
divencenzo and hart back on the bench where they belong really solidifies things too
and... tbh a large portion of the league just uses utility big men, so i'm not really concerned short term there, but IMO the knicks arent a contender until they can ditch Randle. and get something that fits better in the post with the wings.
just my take.
Pretty sure this year is just the setup for the next year.
That being said, they've sorta finally had to commit to this team build, so now there's gonna be alot of luck involved with how it all works out shaping up those final pieces over the next 2 years.

Regardless, the Villanova squad will probably be hella fun to watch this year.
*prays for health as usual*

Hartenstein to the Thunder, told ya.

Thunder should be even better next year with iHart and getting Caruso for Giddey seems like a steal to me, Caruso is one of the best defenders among guards in the league and his shooting has improved.

Sixers grab Drummond and the big news, PG13. I expect them to continue to underperform, they seem to be slowly rotating through every choke artist in the league, kind of amazing.

And finally CP3 to the Spurs, this seems like a pretty big deal. Yes Paul has lost a step big time, but if he can get Wemby the ball in the right spots he could have a major impact. Of course they aren't going to go from one of the worst in the league to the Finals in one year, but I would look for them to be significantly better and very fun to watch.

I think all the Warrior fans are happy to get rid of CP3 but I agree, he is going to be boost to SA and also give them a vet presence.

cp3... meh, not expecting much.
i mean bench presence sure, but he's barely played last few years. he old.

hartenstien leaving. again, not a big deal imo for the knicks.
will probably be good fit in okc though.

Klay to Dallas i find interesting, but idk they need a vet big imo.

Also PG hasnt done shit in like 5 years worth talking about, and the Sixers just have a shit organization i think.

Speaking of the CLippers though, have you seen their new arena :O
I forsee them rising up the next few years as a destination team, especially with LEbron making the LAkers a volcanic crater.

Yeah I don't see Klay really helping the Mavs, he's just not a very reliable shooter at this point.

As for CP3, he averaged 26 minutes in 58 games last year, that's pretty decent playing time for a 38 year old not named LBJ. And we're talking about the facilitator of Lob City here, I think he will help Wemby develop, both on the court and off of it.

Valuncunias to the Wizards, I guess the Knicks couldn't afford him? They're gonna have to re-sign Precious now, not many quality big men left at this point.

And finally KCP to Magic could move the needle for them. I think he is one of the most underrated players in the league. Does a little of everything and hits big shots when his team needs it, not a fluke that he has two rings with two different teams. I was also pretty impressed with what I saw of Paolo during the playoffs, he's definitely going to be an elite PF in the next couple years.

Meanwhile, the Celtics have resigned Jrue Holliday, Derrick White, Jayson Tatum, Luke Kornet, Neemias Queta, and picked up Sam Hauser's option over the course of the last month or two (all but Jrue were done yesterday).

Looks like the defending champs will be running it back.   :pbjtime:  :beerbang:

Brunson just took the biggest paycut in NBA history.
supposedly over a $100mil. less then he could have got.
my man.

Westbrook to Denver it sounds like. Will be interesting. Like the 6th team he's been on in 7 seasons.

i mean dude stays in shape and knows how to be a team player.
not sure hwo much gas he has left in tank at this point, but could be interesting pairing with jokic if they are on floor same time.
