you guys all have mccoy tyner tix for the dc show in april, right?

I can't afford that shit. But this isn't a McCoy Tyner live experience poll, is it?

Also, no Phish tickets.

Just a funny way to treat a guy who was instrumental, pun intended, in changing the way you see life.
you've seen him live though, right?

Sometimes life is a matter of timing.

i have i must must say it enriched the otherwise diminished life of this poor misguided soul.

looks like your vote change plea is working though.

I guarantee a couple of those votes are from people that have heard ALS 1 or 2 times in their life.

I used to fall asleep to ALS ...

that says a lot.

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

funny thing is I like Rift but I find it hard to believe in voting in it for all time best albums.
junta at least embodies phish imo.

yup.  ALS isn't even trane's best work, Brass Sessions or Village Vanguard would have been a better choice imo.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Oh! That! No, no, no, you're not ready to step into The Court of the Crimson King. At this stage in your training an album like that could turn you into an evil scientist.
