I haven't been able to really sit down and watch/listen to this one - it kept pulling me in from various rooms around the house I was working in. The language these aviators/nautical engineers/astronauts use paralleled the language I'm used to hearing from other, shall we say, less credible demographics. It's great to hear familiar conclusions being reached by crew-cut/military personnel. They call it "The Overview Effect," although it sounds similar to Stewart Brand's "why haven't we seen a picture of the whole earth yet?" > Whole Earth Catalog trip.
