Torn between voting for MJ or voting for talking heads so that at least Layla will have lost to an eventual finalist

If Phish had not played this album, most of you voting would of never heard it. But you all would of heard Thriller.

I don't know that that's necessarily true. Remain in Light was pretty popular with the non-phish crowd. I have my parents' old cassette of it and they were deadheads with no love for teh phishes.

WhatstheUse?

I listened to Remain in Light before I ever even knew Phish covered it (or even knew of Phish, for that matter!)

I'm glad thriller is winning.
Remain in the light should not be in the top 4

I didn't vote cause your choices suck

on second thought, had to vote against MJ

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

gah

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own.

I voted for Talking Heads R.I.M., just because I thought Thriller should have been pitted against The Beatles Sgt. Peppers, so that Thriller could have finally got its butt kicked, so I just pretended it was up against Sgt. Peppers...
Control for smilers can't be bought...

"Your answer is silly. What'd do you want the song to do? End world hunger?
It's a fucking Phish song, some of them are very complex compositions, some are not.

This one with its complex vocal arrangement falls right in between.
But that and a hook aren't enough so I'll let Trey know his songs have to start giving out handys." RJ
