Some great interplay towards the end of Sand, and the transition into Nellie Kane was fun, albeit too early.

This. George and I listened to a '99 limb x limb last night while following the setlist, during which phish had time to play dwd, sand, and nellie kane. Something just isn't right about that.

I couldn't help but feel a re-iteration of something I felt on THursday, which was that Trey knows to push the peaks just a litttttle bit more before bringing the refrain or whatever ending back.  There were a couple points where I was expecting Trey to bring the closing chords in, based on previous 3.0 versions, but he chose to egg the energy on just a little more.  and it was awesome.

In all seriousness, I only go to 2 or 3 shows a year and I have a good time.  I understand that they don't play like they did 15 years ago and I don't have any high hopes that they will.  That being said, Worcester was better than i expected going in.  The energy in the building was the highest I've personally seen in 3.0.  There were some flubs and such, but I'm glad that I went, that's for sure.
