Didn't realize there was a show last night.

Firing up the LimbXLimb now

WhatstheUse?

Other than some extremely awkward transitions (which then led to jamming) i thought it was a great show.

Limb by limb was incredible imo
Bring in the dude!

I know it hasn't been 24 hours, but...

Best jammed Limb By Limb ever?

I can't think of a better one.

Can't think of one that's close.

Depending on what you mean by jammed, I like 12/31/97 more than this version. However, they don't veer so perhaps this is apples and oranges.

I caught the stream from Limb on.  I really enjoyed what I heard.  They sounded like a completely different band from the last few shows.  If it is possible to hear confidence, then I think I did last night.

Great Limb. The jam mostly had a straight-ahead rock flavor, but was well outside the normal LxL mold. It had an effortlessness to it that makes you think they could do this with just about any tune if they wanted to.

But the come-down to the quick LxL reprise could have been handled much better. Ah well.
Is this still Wombat?

how does this Limb compare with the 2/18/03 or 12/3/99 versions?  Those are the only 'jammed' out Limb's i know of.

I'm sure i got the '03 date wrong, you know what one i'm talking about.

I'm pretty upset that I missed this show, but family is far more important than a pretty lukewarm tour.
Of course it has to be the one show of the second leg that looks like it was worth a shit.
Ready to blast this LxL now and see what the fuss is about.

I do like that they actually are taking the trouble to finish Reba again.

It's cool that they played a jam in the song.

This pretty much nails my feelings on this.
The fact that it was jammed was cool for sure.
The jam was lame as fucking lame though and went nowhere, so that part was not cool.
Back to Chitcago '94 for me...

I wouldn't judge it quite so harshly.
I was being cautious with my praise as I'd listened once and gotten distracted during it.

I've listened to it a couple times now (because it's hard to listen uninterrupted around here today) and I like the jam. It's a-typical to the song and it flows well enough into the reprise... but it really is most significant for the fact that they played it at all.

That's a good thing.
