personally, I loved oysterhead (and no, I don't fluff those other side projects).
I only saw one show and you really only needed to see one show a tour.

I have no desire for them to come back though.  I don't even think it is something Trey would be interested in right now and I doubt Copeland would be for it either.

I've now had this on in the background for the last hour while working... I love it! I would LOVE to see this band live. Seriously.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

This band never made much sense to me.
I have the record, it's ok. but live they bored me.

like, record record?
I glance every so often at ebay to see if one is reasonably priced.  most of the time, none are even listed or way more than I'd be willing to pay.

I didn't even know they pressed those, would love to have that

PG I skipped that Asheville show* and still hate myself for it

*- to watch VT play UVa, the only thing that would have forced such a decision at that time

I always feel like it would be easier for RJ to name the awesome records he doesn't own
Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!

Could 2013 Trey play with Oysterhead?

The 06 reunion @ Bonnaroo was pretty solid.

Oysterhead was good live once in a while but I saw too many shows.  My friends who did the entire tour were kinda bugging.  I really like the album though. By the end of the run that I saw, I would just sit in the VIP area and stare at Copeland play the drums all night.  Well worth the price of admission.  That said, after 5 or 6 shows in  row, I was def bored. More importantly, there are a number of tracks on that LP that Phish would fucking destroy and I wish they/expect them to drop one at some point.

I got to see them when they came down off the mountain at Bonnaroo... it was fucking great.
I'd love to see a few shows.
If we could see these many waves that flow through clouds and sunken caves...

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Yes please!
What he said.

Still never got to see the Matterhorn. Even though there are no more drugs, I still think he'd use it.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.
