a little?  i am in shock!  can we talk about this?!?  that's between 70,000 and 80,000 tickets gone in 10 minutes.  non east coast.  towards the beginning of the tour, with plenty of other dates for people to choose from, at one of the highest ticket prices ($75) ever for them.  gotta be the highest attended (and for sure the highest grossing) 2 night run of 3.0, maybe since big cypress (what was official capacity of IT?)

where is this demand coming from:

-is chicago still in GD50 mode having been so impressed with what happened at soldier field?

-is it the location?  the wrigley field mystique.  the fact that tens of thousands of people live within walking distance of the venue?  i have a hard time thinking someone who doesn't know phish will plop down close to $100 for a ticket, just because it's at wrigley field.  and i have a hard time thinking this makes up for the 10,000+ tickets per night difference from northerly island.   

-did cubs season ticket holders and scalpers buy a lot of tickets in hopes of making a quick profit like they did for GD50?

-or is it a perfect combination of all 3?

There was already a big re-release of 100 levels around 8pm last night.

Guessing that a lot of speculators picked up those 500 level tickets.
