Looking for new torrent client. What are you using? Just DL'd the lastest utorrent - god awful adware, bloat, etc..

I use qBittorrent.  It's super lightweight and ad free. Open source, I think.

I've always been fine with Transmission (Mac for me, but there's now a Windows "early preview," I see). Can't make any comparisons but I've had no complaints, either. It's lean and effective.
Is this still Wombat?

Definitely not Transmission for PC, it's awful.

I'm also using utorrent 2.2.1, it's fine I guess.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

I'm on Mac and a long time Transmission user.  6 months to a year ago I switched to Qbittorent and could be happier in terms of UI and performance.  Haven't looked back.

Deluge is really lightweight and does a good job with 1k+ torrents running. I personally use rtorrent, it's Linux only and command line interface only. But it can handle any amount of torrents running. Currently I have 6k+

you think the torrent is your ally?  you and I merely adopted the torrent.  ph92 was born in it.  molded by it.

Basically... Limewire was really shitty and I wanted a good alternative. That's actually when I found the SHNfam DC++, which lead me to here.

Let's just say the grand opening of Apollo (RIP) was reallllly good to me, DL'd over a TB of music that got transferred to Orpheus almost seamlessly.

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.
