The last time I saw Rage live was in '97 on tour with The Wu-Tang Clan. It was an insanely good show!

It was a strange two days as I saw Bob Dylan and Ani DiFranco play Deer Creek the day before I saw RaTM and Wu-Tang play Deer Creek. I think those are the two most contrasting consecutive shows I've been to in my life.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I only saw them once, in 99 at Fuji Rock Fest during the Phish set break.  Phish was watching too.  Only saw about 25 minutes but it was pretty intense.  No desire to see them now but I think it will be great for those that go.

got lucky enough to see them at Lolla with MBW a few many moons ago.

my brother and his two buddies camped in front of the stage all day.
he still talks about that show... it was a lot of fun and they made the front page of the paper!

I'd definitely be into seeing them again if they were closer...

My buddy Stack saw them at Voodoo Fest on that same tour where they played Lolla - he still talks about how it was one of the best shows he's ever seen.

That said...

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Nothing in my area. Sigh.
His eyes were clean and pure but his mind was so deranged

Yeah no CO date is whack.
Thinking of hitting up Portland or Vancouver, have been looking at doing a weekend vacation there.

Buffalo Budd

Eyeballing that Que city date but it conflicts with any Gorge plans.

Can Rage really fill the United Center in Chicago?
Its like a 23K capacity for concerts.

good point.  dead and company and guns and roses are both playing wrigley field, which is also very surprising.  i don't know how these acts do it.

dead and co surprised me with the large venues they can fill.  GN'R though?  Not surprising at all.  They filled soldier field a few years back.  it was awesome too.  Rage never came close to being as big as GN'R
