realistically the 2 major issues that were the  dems problems are still problems.
1. economy- regardless of facts, your average undecided voter is gonna vote on their grocery bill more then anything.
2. the republicans have spent the last 4 years passing massive amounts of voter supporesion laws in every place they could.

personally, i'm all for Kamela at this point.
for starters shes the only candidate allowed to use Bidens warchest.
shes also the only high profile pick willing to lose basically. the others want to wait 4 years.
she defnitely invigorates the turnout for the younger and minority dems and independants. that mighta passed on voting between 2 80 year old white men.
-you're not going to lose any "anyone but trump" dem votes. you had those... i dont think there's many masogionistic dems left tbh., theyve found their way to the right a long time ago.

It's about energizing the "non base" people and getting them to show up.
For better or worse, a white, Christian, hetero man who is preferably from a battleground state will help.
Kamala has to show she has balls just as big as Trump. Leadership and looking Presidential and all that.
The Dems have to show something concrete they are FOR and how it will help middle America's bank book, at the same time calling out Trump's lies.
and maybe Trump will somehow shoot himself in the foot.

I haven't heard his name in pundit spewing, but Tim Walz of MN really impressed me when I was living there.  He's as boring as they come, with a background in education, which we desperately need a refocus on as a country.  Fuck your guns, grab a book.

Feel like more and more just petty theft and shady practices are going on too. Any way to get $ or one up I suppose. My old landlord in Denver took my security deposit and the bill was pretty much landscaping and some outside hole repair (I was in an apartment building. I didn't have a yard).
