Meh, I?ve always thought he was a dickbag and I?ve never given him a single cent of my money or even really listened to his music.

I just think cancel culture in general doesn?t necessarily make a lot of sense. If he?s criminal throw him in jail. Otherwise he has a right to keep doing his job and earn a living like anybody else.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Apologies for de-railing.

Let's see more lists.

Caravan2001

This thread took a turn.  Now I am afraid to post my list  :-P.

J/K, lot of great records this year and I am still trying to come up with mine.  Some crossover with what has been posted but not a ton.

Sick.
I think 12/30/19 was my last show (so far).
That late night show was... late. But amazing.

The label that released my 2020 #1 album got the cover art peeps to make this. Nice.

I wasn't really keeping track as well as years past

No particular order:

The Orb - Abolition of the Royal Familia
Four Tet - Parallel
Thundercat - It Is What It Is
Frank Zappa - Halloween 81

Reissues:
Yoshio Ojima ‎? Une Collection Des Cha?nons I: Music For Spiral

That's just roughly off the top of my head. Listened to so many live streams/recordings it was hard to keep up with releases this year!

Yeah I guess I have such high standards for The Orb that it didn?t make the cut for my list.

But it?s a very solid release, and Slave Til You Die is crazy in how fitting it was for 2020.

Nice list and great write-ups.  I haven't heard half of those albums so looking forward to checking them out.

I particularly like the couple ambient tracks (track 6,7). But I agree, not their best by a long shot. I really enjoyed the COW & Alpine remixes as well. Not sure if those were this year or not.

Lol, those are from like from five years ago.

Moonbuilding is still their best in terms of semi-recent stuff IMO.

Oh lol, I just ran across them. I really like COW,  but yeah I 100% agree with you. Moonbuilding is so fire.
