Nice right up Dave, getting pumped for the shows. Couple questions:

1) How was the pat down to get in? Invasive or nah?
2) Were people blazing in the Sphere? I would imagine the U2 crowd probably smokes slightly less weed than a typical Phish crowd, but curious if people were firing up?  You could bring a bong into MGM and the ushers would probably help you light it.

1. not so much a pat-down as a walk through metal detectors. They're concerned with weapons more than anything.
2. There were ushers at the top of sections - zero security once the show started. I can't imagine it any different, but who knows. U2 crowd is very different from Phish crowd and Phish is only the 2nd act ever in this room. I didn't see anyone light up, but definitely smelled it coming from someone near me at a few spots.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I imagine security is on par with MSG

metal detectors, facial recognition, etc.
If this is love, I'm never going home..

GBL

any chatter out there on what the theme may be?

All just guesses at this point. Don't think I've seen any real rumors.

one plausible guess I saw was Four Seasons over four nights... or four eras of Phish. 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 - but that would actually kinda suck, imo.

Well it would suck for people going on Sunday  ;D

Actually, I have another theory: they just released the song Evolve from the album Evolve. I could totally see evolution being the theme. Just nerdy enough!

You will always remember where you were!

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

So far the coolest thing i've seen is the silhouettes in mfmf.
Not picking up on any themes...

We've been to lazy to do those for a few years now, I think. We usually stick to Post-Show Discussions now.
