Ho.
Ly.
Shit.
Now that was a show.
You know it's a hell of a set when Possum is the cool down song.
Still picking up pieces of my face.
Hoping tonight doesn't destroy me.

Pretty pretty pretty good from the couch

For real. Last night was the bee's knees. Best show I saw all year.

Not half bad on headphones too.  :music:

As a roadie for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, I learned that I should give up being a guitar player. - Lemmy

What a run, perhaps the best Dicks ever? Up there with 2012 at least.

The last half of the second set tonight fell flat but just about everything else this weekend was great phish.

First ever Tweeprise with a jam/solo tonight?! Hell yeah!

That was a great weekend of Phish.
I had to leave after the first three shows, but all three were smokers.
Especially friday night.
I haven't listend to much but highlights of the rest of the tour, but from that limited exposure, it felt like they kicked it up a notch, beyond the difference between home listening and live. Or possibly I'm deluding myself. But these shows felt unusually hot, from start to finish, with imaginative patient jamming.

Thurs and fri were not crowded at all. Which was nice. Saturday the floor was much more packed tight. Guess all the 'one show only crowd' showed up for that one.

been watchin a bunch of deer creek clips last few days.. really smokin shows.
summer overall seems a win from what i've seen.

Indeed

I'm not crazy in thinking that this was the first Tweeprise "solo" ever... right?  I kept telling people that after the show but no one else seemed to notice.

I'm not including the SPAC '04 Piper or whatever 95 show had that Tweeprise jam... just as a standalone... this has never happened, right? lol.

Not, sure, but it was over 6 minutes which is 2 minutes longer than usual. 3 minutes longer than a lot.  I'm guessing there is another 6 minute Tweeprise somewhere but they're at least as rare as Sabotage.

Don't think so. Maybe there's ones where the final crash they milk for some noise for awhile, but I've never heard one actually jammed like this.

Yeah I can't really remember last time they hit the "won't you step into the freezer" (sounds like Trey says 'don't you step into the freezer' first time) refrain 3 times esp with the stretched solo section. Usually it's the typical 2 > end of show hit. That ac 2010 they like went back into the zep tune > then hit the final note but didn't go back into tweeprise per say

Sweet. New things are exciting.  :wtu:
