So it looks like they released a studio version of Evolve this morning. The first single off of a new studio album, I'm sure but it seems likely.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Me too, one of the better new tunes I've heard actually.
Speaks to the timelessness and incredible beauty of the Grateful Dead's music

Dead and Co sucks but if it brings in beautiful women who might let me toss in the Boise 83 Franklins or the Hampton 81 Let it grow, I'm all for it.

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.

Does it come with a glider tho?

Nope. Plenty of Trey ballads though.

Nope. Plenty of Trey ballads though.
And probably a few songs with no capital letters in the name.

That was a brutal listen.

LOL. I mean, it's not terrible. It's what I expected.

I've moved onto Billy Strings Live Vol. 1 which was also released today. It's phenomenal so far.

Today belongs to Billy! That collection is amazing! Just wish the Reuben'sTrain didn't fade-out.

As for this album. It's studio Phish. Neither of the two unplayed songs stood out to me. Valdese started out sounding like a Beatles ripoff.

I like the record.
It sounds like modern Phish. Some of you do not really like the modern Phish material which, to my ear, has a distinct sound so, maybe not your bag.
But I think the energy of the band translates well to the record. The strings support it nicely.

sls.stormyrider

I like it.
Give them credit for continuing to make new music.
If I never heard of them, and someone put this on for me, would I want to see them live? Probably not. Honestly, the 1st time I heard Phish was Hoist and that didn't excite me at the time either.
Most of my listening will continue to be live shows.

New album is going straight to number 1 on the charts!  Football stadium tour next summer!

I liked Pillow Jets and Life Saving Gun
If this is love, I'm never going home..
