That is nuts!!!
Speaks to the timelessness and incredible beauty of the Grateful Dead's music

Dead and Co sucks but if it brings in beautiful women who might let me toss in the Boise 83 Franklins or the Hampton 81 Let it grow, I'm all for it.

another crazy storm last night.
80 mph winds here, 110 up in omaha.
pretty much every tree in lincoln lost limbs.
looks like a hurricane went through.
we got pretty lucky, no major damage.

definitely craziest storm season since i moved here.

The pics and reports of western NC are devastating. Asheville and Boone are pretty destroyed. Towns inbetween completely wiped out. A friend that lived on their farm outside Boone passed away from their house collapsing cuz of a landslide.  :(
That area hasn't seen this type of natural disaster destruction in probably 100 years or more.

Absolutely gutting to see what has hit that region and the shit they're continuing to deal with as the waters slowly recede. SW VA and East Tennessee are also similarly hit (though Asheville obviously has the highest concentration of people). The small valley towns that are gone... It's crazy.

The challenges are far from over. For many, the impacts may be felt for a generation.

I'm really sorry to hear about your friend EMay.

I fear we're going to be hearing many more stories like that in the coming week or two.

Fawk! That sucks, Erik. Sorry to hear about your friend.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

This hurricane season has been totally insane so far. We got really lucky with Milton last night where we are in central FL. The panhandle and west coast of FL have been devastated. I can't even speak of what happened to E TN and WNC due to Helene. I still can't quite comprehend the level of destruction caused.
