i love sumday, it is a complete album.
it seems like they were really going for the polished finish.

Haven't heard the Diary of Todd Zilla yet, I'll have to check that out.

I think the songs on Sumday are strong, but the production is way overdone for my tastes.  Everything is smoothed out to the point of being kind of bland, and after Sophtware Slump it was somewhat of a disappointment for me.

I really dig Under the Western Freeway and the rarities and b-sides comp. Concrete Dunes too.
