you know...   damn.  I guess i really never looked that deeply into the Talking Heads stuff and that second set from 10/31/96.  Ive listened to it, not in a while, but I just never really delved much into it.  Everything you said makes perfect sense, Cactusfan.  And its weird... because i'd always noticed that it was mainly with Story of the Ghost that they started doing those cool vocal layer things where 2 people would be singing different things simultaneously, creating some really weird, awesome effect, ala Sneakin' Sally and Roggae.
