Just into Powderfinger - 2nd song in - and I'm fucking loving this!

Makes me feel like the 10 year-old kid who was introduced to Neil Young by 17 year-old guitar-playing singers at sleepaway camp.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
His eyes were clean and pure but his mind was so deranged

Not a disco fan, far from it, but I fucking love this. All 17:52 of it.

Not a great recording because, well you know, orchestras don't like tapers.

GOnna try and listen to all of Fall 97 for the 20th anniversary so i got a head start since it usually takes me a couple days to get through an entire show.

Just finished the tour opener from VEgas, 11-13 and wow i was really shocked how much i loveds this show.
The boys seriously sound like they all took the same drugs and are so loose yet completely locked in at the same time,
To my ears there is a ton of inspired improv thruoghout most of the jams, with every detail  in the pocket carefully reacting and building around each other.

The mikesgroove closer is especially  peak, though the second set opener Stash straight up is blowing my mind. This version has to be my new favorite. Had to listen to it twice. seriously gotta be one of my all time fav jams i had totally forgotten about. A+.
-I'm still walkin', so i'm sure that I can dance-

^ love that Vegas 97 show. The YEM is noteworthy too.
First Black eyed Katy sounds nice & tight as well as the rest of the points you made as well.
