WhatstheUse?

I know I'm like 5 years late to this. So late that I actually missed him for good.  :'(  But I totally slept on Mac Miller. I'm not a hip hop guy so I guess I never took the time to explore his music, even though I had heard so many positive things about it. This is a fantastic album, regardless of genre.

Bring in the dude!

Oysterhead - 5/1/22

Four tunes it, killing it.

Not usually a "Damn, that makes me feel old" kinda guy, but this album turned 25 today:

I'd rather dwell in some dark holler where the sun refuses to shine, where the wild birds of heaven can't hear me when I whine.

30 second ACID TRIPS!!!

This is pretty cool. It's all algorithmically generated music and visuals designed to give you a unique musical break in your day that has been heard by nobody else before. Generated just for you. Pretty fucking cool.

Also, check out their music generated by the digits of Pi. It's basically a piece of music based on pi that, if played would last about 114 years. Fuck yeah!

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I enjoyed your episode on Clay's podcast! I'm ready to be on another episode. Hopefully we can get a roundtable episode soon! We've been bugging him about it for a while now.

Our own RJ on Undermine talking 12/29/94. Good shit!

Btw, I have opinions on this one. You missed some key moments that should be discussed!

Time was limited. As you may know, I can go on for some time if permitted.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

They drop into a sweet groove at 7:40, Fish and Trey leading the way.  Dirty '95 funk, Page emerges on his clav.  This is the MMW influence.

This would have been so sick to have been at.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.
