Funny would be applying super glue to your nuts and putting said nuts on her face.  Talk about "seeing the light" and remaining faithful to the indigo girls manifesto.

There's more airbrush on that shot than on a Peterbilt with a flame job.

how 'bout Slayer and MManson???... there playin Pershing Jesso...
honestly i like slayer, but doubt i'll really get up the nerve to go to the show.

though i'm definitely considering seeing the ALLmans at the end of august when they hit HARRAH's.--why the fuck is the damn casino the only venue atound here that gets sh--? its really no tthat nice of a place for a show.

anyway, i think the allmans are playin good shows  :| :| :| :|.. though honestly i have no friggin idea if they are or not.

hmm I don't think they've written a lot of new stuff over the last 2 years but Trucks alone is worth the price of admission. :beers:

 :mrgreen:Slayer and
:? :? :-o Manson  :| :| :| I don't dig Manson, but I wouldn't mind checkin' out Slayer!  Satan is surely on the Side of Slayer :samurai:

And as far as the Allmans.....never experienced them live(except live on cd lol) so you and I should go check em out and have a good time when they come! When are they at the casino anyway?

kellerb

allmans are the allmans, it'll be good.   there will be a moment during the show when they'll play a bluesy tune that seems kind of bland or has lame lyrics, but then 10 minutes later you'll be like Fuck! Derek & Warren are the shit.

Also, if you total up the minutes, the end of each song will consume 1/3 of the show. And somehow, it will still be awesome.

Trucks never disappoints.  His solos during the old jam vehicles (Liz' Reed, Whipping Post, Dreams, Mountain Jam) are incredible and worth the price of admission alone.  Go slim, and you will be blown away by this kid.
Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!

Even if the Allmans were in a bus crash, left with only 3 of them and all they could play were Kazoos I would still see them over Marilyn Manson. sorry to say it again but that guy is so bad! Not to mention Marilyn Manson with all the bad covers he releases as singles would never play Whipping Post lol And I don't think i would want to hear it if he did lol :beers:

Just found out that while at The Simpsons premier that Page is playing, so although there is no way in hell I'm going to see the movie, Page is a great treat instead.
"There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese."          -Bobby Finstock
