wow... i missed it :)
i guess it's my turn for my side....
i land at JFK and of course mom calls. while I'm talking i get a text message..
it reads "I'm at baggage claim E" so i go on the hunt for baggage claim. honestly, i didn't really expect Aug to show up being this was in town and he's an islander..
there's a fellow 'pauger waiting to greet me :)
it took us FOREVER to find a place to grab a beer, or anything for that matter
my flight was scheduled to leave at 8.20pm. got over to the desk somewhere around 7.55.
"sorry ma'am, the gates locked and it's taking off..."   WTF?
i go to the desk, get my ticket switched to the next Buffalo bound flight in the AM and call Aug.
he rescues me after about 35 laps around the JFK loop :) and off we go...
The bar was a pretty neat place, not anything like I'm used to.. then it's off to party it up in Brooklyn with his gang. SUPER COOL PEOPLE.
walked to the "bodega"... what a place! totally out of the movies... got some magic hat  :-D and ventured back.
stayed up late, listened to good tunes, had awesome conversations with everyone and crashed out.
get up early and it's back to the airport for me... scheduled to leave at 11.25 don't get on the runway till 1. they weren't gonna let us leave till 4.15, but we got out.
shew. and that's it for the other one.....

was a great detour for my trip and i had a blast.
i was hopped up on cold meds at JFK so whiskey ht quicker than normal... so later i made sure as to not take anymore so i could hang with everyone.
sorry Hoodie22, if I'd have known you were close by... I'd have mentioned it :)
not sure what BBFCM is, i prolly should but i don't... so I'll leave that at that.  been refreshed...

and yes slim.... JUST AS GOOD as he looks....
rainbows, Aug?  I'll take that and say thank you i think :)

all is all, a great night getting "stuck" in NYC.

Totally good times, Aug... must do it again.

plus i had to tell my side...my picture is better :)

Honestly though, this whole post whoring thing is getting to be a little ridiculous.  But does having a higher post count make a cooler pauger?

I often travel by snail as well, its great gas mileage

But is it a racing snail?

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

"There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese."          -Bobby Finstock

Caravan & August Destroy NYC ("That's not very nice")

Met up with Caravan last night.
Met his beautiful wife and baby, too.
Chillin' at the crib with his buddy that brought over a TON of uncirculated shows from '88 - '91.
I think there were about 15 shows that aren't out there.
Hit up a nearby bar and got Fushnickad till the break-a-break-a dawn.

Caravan let me crash at his place and I made my way back home.

Thanks, Caravan!
Good times!

Sounds like a good time!  I also look forward to hearing some of the new shows!
