Strong wind and rain.
No power.
Good thing I have a cell phone.

Saw trees down all over the place while driving home from hockey.
My neighbors pine is lying on his car right now. I'm not even sure he's noticed yet.
Crazy weather we're having.
Paug FTMFW!

Marmar

20+ inches of snow now that it is all said and done....
Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

I saw a couple snowflakes this morning.
I immediately crashed my car and gave thanks that my wife had the wherewithal to buy that jumbo, 46-roll package of toilet paper.

edit:
Seriously, though, it's crazy windy down here too.

Jay Peak VT reports 32-36 inches with another 1-2 feet by Friday night.
Looks like I'll be making the 4 hour drive this Sat AM.
Shangri-la.

Oh man! I haven't skied Jay Peak since high school. I certainly remember a couple of beautiful blue-bird days up there where we had fresh tracks... One of them was in that 32-36 inches range, too. What a great mountain. Definitely my favorite skiing east of the Mississippi.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Up to 90 mph winds last night. Still no power or heat.  The people across the street had to get their basement pumped twice.
Off to a hotel (:

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

I haven't looked outside my window yet this morning but a few more pictures of my walk to and from work yesterday.

all we got in Northeastern MA and southern NH is rain. lots of it.

power is back on, back home. all things considered, it could have been a LOT worse.
parts of southern NH will be w/o power for at least 2 days
