Quote from: VA $l!m on December 04, 2024, 01:06:44 PMim definitely curious about the plot setup of how they were from a treasure planet that was a myth to the pirates.
and i got love for Jude Law, so excited to see how his character develops.
overall, great production so far.
Your first question is kinda not a mystery to readers. The wife said I can't tell her anything about the books since she doesn't want spoilers.

not reading books paying off again!

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Ventress' Voice Actor does Hela in the new Marvel game. She's so good.

yeah it sorta fizzled..
It was a great premise, and had potential. They just didn't do anything with it. It's sad to say but I found The Acolyte 10 times better than Skeleton Crew and it had dialogue that could have been written by the Skeleton Crew kids.

Skeleton Crew was for kids. It featured kids. Like even more than "Star Wars is for kids", Skeleton Crew was REALLY for kids. I think it was fine. an entertaining out and back story. An interesting corner of the galaxy, untouched by the empire and subsequent galactic war, uncovered. No major canonical consequences or violations, a couple cool ships. and a possible rogue force user. Fun.

That said, I'm ready for the serious business of Andor.

I could tell it was for kids when the main character fled the planet rather than deal with standardized testing.  Also, his best friend was an elephant stuffy

Speaking of which, when they find the pirate's lair, MASSIVE Goonies vibes.
I loved that.

Don't forget that that Capt. Rennod was a wink to Richard Donner, who made Goonies.

So ready for them to explained how Ventress is still alive. When she appeared in Bad Batch I was very confused!
