sweet, some redundancy from BN75 however quality will be better for BN80.  I pre-ordered Shorter's Etc., pumped for its arrival next week.

Yeah I got both Feb ones, not set for delivery until Feb 22 though...

Weird that there are non-Blue Note titles on there, I guess WEA bought up those smaller labels?

Was expecting to see more variety, a deeper dive into the catalog if you will.

Some nice titles but I wonder if they will remaster from the original tape or do digital masters like BN75.  I've shied away from most of the BN75 stuff though I enjoy the few that I have.  But they don't measure up to the Analogue Productions, Music Matters or OGs which is a shame.  They could have used the anniversary to release some definitive versions.

ETA:  NM, I actually read the article and see that they are going back to the analog masters.  Now I am interested.
