It's about time. :beerbang:

If you're getting it and don't want the slipmat. I know someone interested in it...

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I'll keep that in mind Mr C.
Probably just going to pony up for the lp.

Slipmat looks dope, and I see they're trying to convince me to order the vinyl from DG by only offering it in a bundle, but fool me once, shame on you Dry Goods, fool me twice, you're not gonna fool me!!!

Dang, slipmat sold out already, there goes my motivation for ordering this.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Received a few things lately:
Pacific Range - High Up On The Mountain
Great Cali chill stones rock produced by Dan Horne of CATS & Grateful Shred

James Elkington- Ever Roving Eye
Dude can pick a guitar and has done so with the likes of Richard Thompson. On Paradise of Bachelors so you know it won't sucks.

Bonny Light Horsemen - you guys have heard of this one, right?

Food for thought:  https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/slipmats-how-important-are-they.677773/

I'm kinda over felt slip mats  even though that's what my MFR recommends.  It sticks to my LPs fairly often.  I'm gonna try rubber or cork I think.  Might go Herbies (foam):  https://herbiesaudiolab.com/products/way-excellent-ii-turntable-mat?variant=12654105919543

Looking at those too.  Have you had static issues?

Hicks

Now that you mention it I do get static issues from time to time with a felt pad, I have a Technics one that is more a foam type material, maybe I should go back to that.

I have an acrylic platter and use nothing.
It grips well and rarely gets too static'y'.
I'd like to get a clamp at some point.

There was a short period where Dry Goods was offering the SotG slipmat as a stand-alone item. I Custy'd up for it. I have always loved the cover for SotG and had to have the slipmat. It probably won't go on my table very often though. I mostly have my Flightless Records slipmat on, but will occasionally trade that one out for my Steal Your Face slipmat.

Generally no, but recently I started wearing shoes around the house, and I've noticed a bit more static.  Not on the records but when I touch the tone arm.  I've started turning the speakers off when I switch sides/LPs.

I have found certain records (mostly new) stick to my mat.  Normally I don't have an issue but every SRX record sticks right to the mat.  I should probably clean them before i play them but I have been too lazy.  I'll run 'em through cleaner shortly.

My table originally came with a rubber mat and every felt mat that I have bought in any way has never lasted long on the table.  Keep the rubber clean and your record doesn't move at all. Also helps with dust I feel.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.
