you guys don't have to buy it but our last album is on vinyl now and it came out RIDICULOUSLY awesome.  You can listen here.  We've got about 50 copies left.  It sounds so, so fucking good.  We had a dude master it for vinyl who's worked on shit for Shania Twain, Busta Rhymes, Rufus Wainwright, Johnny Cash, etc.  I can quit music now, this is the top of the mountain for sure.  https://glasspony.bandcamp.com/album/washed-away

Quote from: mbw on May 21, 2024, 12:55:25 PMHaven't really paid much attention to these songs.
Do they all suck?

Some of them go back to 2021, so presuming you're familiar with Wave of Hope and Lonely Trip.

Of the new, new ones Oblivion and Life Saving Gun are good. Hey Stranger and Evolve are decent and I enjoyed Mercy, fka mercy, at the Sphere but I expect it to suck on the album. Same goes for Pillow Jets and Ether Edge even kinda sucked live.

Human Nature and Valdese haven't been played yet. Well unless Human Nature is an MJ cover with Fish on vocals, we can only hope.  :phish:

Pillow Jets was probably my highlight of the sphere run
If this is love, I'm never going home..

My limited John Cale 2LP + 7" has arrived (it's still stuck in customs according to Dutch Mail, though).

One of my very favorite MTV Unplugged sessions is finally getting a vinyl release... 10,000 Maniacs!

And as an added bonus... the three tracks with David Byrne, including the cover of Jolene, are on there, too!

I saw 10,000 Maniacs when I was in college, in the school gym. With Natalie Merchant, first couple of rows. Fall 1990. Such a great show.

It's an amazing collection! The pressing sounds amazing great, too! My only gripe is they fade out the Rueben's when it should go -> Thirst Mutilator -> Reuben's.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I do tend to get to lawn done quicker when boggieing down to some Billygrass.
