The mailman just delivered my order of all three volumes of the Garcia & Grisman Bare Bones series, and the wife is doing lunch/shopping with her friend today. So my dancing card is full for the afternoon!

That's a critical document. I got a copy for my neighbor whose house is lousy with speakers such that, unless you are in his chair, the stereo field is basically washed out. Perfect for that record.

Vols 2&3 arrived the other day. Lovely stuff. Probably gonna make vol3 my Sunday morning record this week.

Jokes aside, that Big Brother Owsley tape is not a stereo recording. It is two channels but the channels are devised for a stereo image. Best to approach it a mono and crank it.
