"...ruminations of the end of empire, what it is like for a society to no longer have the will to pull itself as a whole, as a single entity, forward. It is a recipe for the disenfranchisement of significant portions of the country, for a divorce of one America from the other" -David Simon

What color is that new Les Paul?  I can't say that I've ever seen that particular color before.

Its a natural finish.  Carved maple top

but I haven't seen a lighter one than this one before

It looks like my buddy's ash les paul, I really like the color of it, even in mahogany.

I didn't really like the swamp ash model.  Too... I dunno, dull looking

I love this thing.  But each time I go to play guitar I find myself standing there for about 5 min trying to pick which one  My PRS still gets more love.  Its just so light and toney (is that a word :?)

Toney sounds about right to me although I use the word warm a lot. I feel the same way about my PRS.  Mine is a solid body though.  Mahogany body with a maple top.  I used to play my Ibanez all the time but when I picked up the PRS and played it through my Marshall it just destroyed my old guitar.
